Main Ideas for 360 Video
Night View of cars on highway
Looking at doing a time lapse → unsure of how to turn this into the VR parallel world
Forest/Nature
Looking at the beauty of it → into the destruction/deforestation and pollution
Building
Looking at how buildings decay → nature taking over/overgrown/dystopia
Small view/looking more towards ground
Looking at the ground, an ant's perspective with large grass and huge people → basically Antz the movie
Home/cozy vibes spending time/playing with cat
In class, we went around and put sticky notes of how the base video ideas could be translated into their VR world counterparts.
For this crit session I decided to go with the Building idea for people to focus on because I feel it has the most potential.

Ideas for VR World After Crit.:
Old/Abandoned Building complex (Video)

How it has its own sense of community
Looking at how they are being abandoned/people being kicked out to make way for new shiner buildings for higher class people
Government Housing
Scene Options

Peering into peoples lives
VR world becomes apart of community looking into a warm environment
Could have the portal be the window to look into the video world
Isolation
Separation from the scene
Overrun with Nature
Hearing what the community used to sound like
While walking through the building which is overrun with nature and fallen/graffiti everywhere
Time capsule/ Linear Space/ Labyrinth
(Limited space to move → tech issue)
As the viewer is walking through the space they hear different communities
As they walk through the old now abandoned building they can hear children playing with toys on the ground
Can hear people talking, tea set with old newspaper and chairs flipped over
Sounds of spray paint and young teens laughing and chatting, lost spray paint cans on the ground
